Print On Demand

Here's a site that goes into great detail about "print on demand," from explaining what it is, to discussing the pros and cons, to giving you a side-by-side comparison of the many companies that offer "print-on-demand publishing."

I especially like the way they point out red flags in some of the contracts.

Note... there's a world of difference between "print-on-demand" publishers (who end up with an interest in your book and pay you royalties) and "self-publishing" companies (who print it and go away, not unlike your local Kinko's). This article discusses the differences. (Geeeez!!! I can't believe I didn't know this!!!)
