Bloggers... Services to Ping

Okay, I don't get this...

I thought all the services you registered with would automatically update your blog on their own schedule (and we even got a thrashing on the FIB board about over-pinging tying up the air waves or busting the bandwidth or some such thing)...

I don't get it, so I'm not going to try.  I'll just pass along this dandy list and you can use it as you see fit.
